This large ink on paper work was completed in January 2021 but is part of a series of works based on Greek myth started in 2016. It is a work that Panagiotis has returned to for a second time. The Riddle of the Sphinx has a modern Jungian twist with the dark somewhat threatening figure hunched over in the dark shutters. The story of the Riddle of the Sphinx revolves around death with Oedipus answering the riddle at the entrance to Thebes. The riddle is what goes on four legs at dawn, two legs at noon and three legs in the evening? Do you know the answer?
